Student Volunteers

PDAC’s annual convention is the world’s premier meeting of mineral explorationists, developers, investors, corporate and investment bankers, financiers, analysts and government representatives. 
PDAC 2016 attracted over 22,000 people from more than 100 countries.

PDAC offers students a unique opportunity to volunteer their time in exchange for a complimentary Student All Access Pass AND a ticket to the Mineral Outlook Luncheon.

Make an impression, build on your knowledge and develop your network with a series of events designed especially for students.  The world renowned PDAC convention offers students a unique opportunity to meet professionals in the industry.

As a volunteer, you will be assigned 2 four hour shifts Sunday, March 5 through Wednesday, March 8 during PDAC 2017. Volunteer apparel, a food voucher, a gift card, a volunteer certificate and an attendee bag and materials will be provided to each volunteer in addition to the complimentary Student All Access Pass. To participate, you must be available to attend a 2 hour orientation session on Saturday, March 4 at 12 noon or 3 pm or Sunday, March 5 at 10:30 am or 3 pm at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Available Positions

Convention Ambassadors - Volunteers will greet attendees and assist them in navigating the convention. 

Mobile Masters -  You must be comfortable with operating mobile devices and approaching people to encourage them to use PDAC's mobile website.  As a Mobile Master, you are key to creating awareness about the mobile website and helping attendees access and utilize this tool.
